The only way I could get a pic of him today...as he was always cuddling up to me and so I had to do a 'arms length pic'. lol

Hemmingway is doing just fine...he follows me around the house until I sit down and pet him for a least 10mins..then he'll get up and play some string games.

Jenny

Jenny is adjusting very well and is well behaved. She is attached to our older son and follows him where ever he goes. She tends to ignore the other dogs and does her own thing.

These two are funny...the little one will chase Brody around the house and all over outside.

Brody is really good about it and they play well together.

everything is going well,...I haven't been able to get a pic of the other kitty, as she hides quite well,..and the one time she was on the bed..by the time I got the camera ready she was under the bed. lol.

Hi Alison,

your kitties are doing just fine!..they greet me at the door each time I get there. I think at first they think it is you coming home..but then they warm up to me quickly.

So all is well...I should have some pics for tomorrow to load up here..

Madi - Dec. 22nd

Hi

Madi is doing excellent...I came in today,..had put food in her dish....and looked to see her sleeping lazily on the bed. Once I went over to her, she jumped up and was running around..had her food, and then got lots of pets and playtime.

So far have only been able to catch Finley for a picture...Tara is too quick :)
They are doing just fine...I have to go searching for them when I am there..but they are nestled somewhere sleeping and staying warm and cozy.

Sarah's Cats

Hi Sarah,

So I got to your home around 6pm today. Saw both kitties, they are doing well.
Played a string game with them for about 10mins.
Everything looks good, and will be there again tomorrow around the same time.

:) (p.s sorry I forgot my camera today..but will have it for next visit)

Brody - Dec. 21

Brody is doing great!
He is getting along well with the other dogs that are here...a shih tzu and a boston terrior.
We up'd his food a bit more...he gets at least a full bowl each day..plus extra goodies.
With toys he doesn't really care if the other dogs take it from him...but even if we have 3 or more raw hides out,..he will want to bury all of them in his crate. lol.

Colby's Visit

Colby is settling in well, is very laid back and gets along with the other dogs.
Went for 2 walks today around the block..
likes trying to get in and play with the other dogs.

Lucy's visit

Lucy is settling in good with the other dogs..although too much excitement, and she will throw up.
Had fun playing with the kids...and went out for a couple walks.
Also played fetch with her toys and the other dogs
Very vocal in her crate (10:04pm)

Brody Dec. 17th

Brody is evenly match with doing 'tug of war' with Abbey...however the stuffed duck lost his head during the game!

Brody Dec. 15th

Today the dogs got chicken basted raw hide treats.
Played fetch about 110 times with Ryan
Brody has really become John's buddy and follows him around the house, or waits at the door if John goes outside.
All is well... :)

Brody's Visit December 12 2008

Brody likes to sit in the office at our feet. He enjoyed being off leash outside in our front yard running in the snow. He was very good with his photos. As you can see, his personality shines! He's been very well behaved.

Brody's Visit - Dec. 11th

Brody is settling in very well. He is listening and for the most part,..will watch the other dogs play fight and occasionally tries to jump in.
He can also jump over our babygate at the bottom of the stairs...so much for the cat's safe haven.
(I'll be raising the gate juuuust a tad) :)

Ray's visit Dec. 10th- 11th

Ray is loving the game 'tug of war' with both Abbey and now Brody. (a 2.5yr old boxer)
She has won every single game with her shaking and pulling the rope.
Also sleeping very good through the night now,..only waking around 7am

Ray's Visit - Dec. 9th-10th

lots of tug of war...again Abbey is having trouble with teething..so we had to end the game of fun early.
slept really well last night,
lots of tummy rubs from the kids and us.

Ray's Visit -Dec. 7th-8th

Ray had a good evening, she played almost constantly with Abbey.
We settled down about 8pm and she played quietly by herself, at our feet and had a yummy chewtoy to keep her busy while we watched a movie.
For bed time we made her a r0und bed by the couch on the carpet, put down some stuffed animals.
She did whine a bit, so I gave her a small treat to quiet her down.
Cats were blocked downstairs...

Monday morning,..had her breakfast, played out side,..went for 9am walk around the block.
